The Brooklyn Women's Bar Association recently set up a Foundation so it can raise money and give to charities. This scholarship was the first major achievement accomplished by the Foundation. With this event it helped to raise over $100,000 and that money will be given every year to a Brooklyn Law School student who has shown an interest in publie service.
